Giprokoks is an engineering company specialized in the field of the complex elaboration of technical documentation for construction of new and reconstruction and modernization of existing coke oven and by-product enterprises and units.
Every third tonne of coke in the world is pushed from the ovens designed by Giprokoks.
All the coke oven plants of CIS countries and largest coke oven plants in Algeria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Egypt, India, Iran, China, Korean People’s Democratic Republic, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Finland, Slovakia, Czechia have been built according to Giprokoks designs.
Totally according to Giprokoks designs 59 coke oven plants were constructed worldwide.
During the period from 1945 till 2009 according to Institute’s designs 390 coke oven batteries along with coal handling plants and by-product recovery plants have been reconstructed and technically reequipped.
Institute’s developments meet the world level and are protected with inventor’s certificates and patents. There have been used the state-of-the-art technologies of modern coke oven industry.
Their competitiveness is confirmed with the fact that Giprokoks has sold to the foreign companies over 45 licenses and “know-how” on coke oven batteries, coke dry quenching plants, coal blend selective crushing units.
